Team Jiggin' Jama is back at it again this year! We truly appreciate everyone's donations last year for this great cause!
Please help us with the bragging rights of winning the Captain's Challenge this year. Last year we placed 17th out of 78 boats in the Captain’s Challenge, raising over $6,000. This year we hope to place in the top 10!
All of us have been touched by cancer is some way. For this reason, we are committed to supporting cancer care in our community and have chosen the Fish For A Cure (F4AC) Tournament Captain’s Challenge to fundraise for the survivorship program at the Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Geaton and Joann DeCesaris Cancer Institute.
The goal of the survivorship program at AAMC is their shared commitment to patients and their families to seek out and offer the most advanced therapies, the best technology and the most skilled physicians, nurses and staff while never losing sight of the fact that successful cancer medicine is about caring, rapport and trust. AAMC values and offers support services for patients and families, including nurse navigation, education, genetics counseling, support groups, social work and psychology services. Last year, AAMC’s Cancer Institute provided care to more than 2,000 patients.
Captain Cary and his Team Jiggin’ Jama has their crew together, Jamie Lynch, Bill and Deb Gertz, Dave and Karen Benford, for this year’s tournament to be held on November 3, 2018. You can help us in our commitment to supporting cancer care in our community by making a charitable contribution to Jiggin' Jama and help us to spread the word about our participation in this great cause.
All donations are tax deductible and 100% will go to AAMC for their survivorship program.
Fair winds and following seas,
Captain Cary and team Jiggin Jama
